Living On Margarita Island

Saturday, June 02, 2007

We've finally revamped our sister site.... Margarita Island Condos.com.
Check it out at http://www.margaritaislandcondos.com

Margarita Island Condos.com offers you several condos to choose from with a style of their own. Our condos are fully equipped, tastefully decorated, very comfortable and of course are in some of the best areas in Margarita Island.

You'll have no need to bring towels, bed sheets, blankets, any type of kitchen wear at all! We also have cable TV in most of our condos, some offer taxi service right out in front of the building, while others offer ocean views or right on the beach.

You might even ask yourself why choose a condo instead of going to an All-inclusive resort or a Hotel..... I can tell you very easily the number one top reason is it's less expensive, you also have the convenience of having more space than you would in a hotel room. It's like having a home away from home feeling.

Nowadays more and more hotels on the Island are charging per person fee's which in turn can make your vacation money not stretch as much as it used to. Our condos are all "pay per nite" fee's not per person. Enjoy taking the time to look thru our condos to choose one that's just right for you and your family's stay in Margarita Island Venezuela.

Juan Griego ......

is a real beautiful part of the island. Juan Griego also has it's own walking streets as we call it here where there are a few streets with local vendors offering all kinds of merchandise, clothing and other items for sale.

The real beauty here is the sunsets that Juan Griego is known for and you can also enjoy a romantic dinner at a lovely restaurant called "La Mama". My close friend decided to take her mom there to dine and enjoy the flavorful food while watching the sun go down. :)

ahhh I love Margarita Island!

Hellooooo,

it seems like ages since I have posted here ..sorry about that. Life can suddenly get real hectic at times.

I wanted to add this info here as I did on my message board. I get alot of questions and from time to time I like to add it to other sites in hopes that if this info is needed somewhere else ...it will be found!

A long time ago someone wanted to know whether or not
they could enjoy one of their favorite poker games here on the island. I wasn't sure then but I know for a fact that LagunaMar resort does offer this. They have Slot Machines, Rulet, Black Jack , Caribbean Poker and Texas HoldĀ“em Poker. They also have a restaurant and bar as well.

They are advertising now for their Day Pass which is for 64,000 bs ($29.76 U.S.) for anyone over 12 and 32,000 bs ($14.88 U.S. ) for under 12 for a one day pass between the hours of 10:00 a.m. til 6:00 p.m. and includes lunch, alcoholic drinks and non, all water activities that are non motorized (kayak, windsurf, and snorkeling) bicylcles, usage of all their pools, jacuzzi, olympic sized pool ....and access to their other onsite activities.

Such as their Casino Perlitas and Spa Treatment facility, but of course these are extra not included in your fee.

Today I remembered that I have a few beautiful photos that I haven't even added to my website. So in the fullest sense they are going to be exclusively only shown here.

The photos below were taken on the 18th floor of a condo I was visiting
in Bahia del Morro in Margarita in Feb 2006. It was an incredible penthouse and the view was gorgeous !

See it for yourself !

Here's another photo as I looked to my right out the window.

This one was taken to my left...

This last one was taken from a high porch from a home close to the Playa El Agua area
called La Mira. The beach in the background is El Tirano.

Cruise Ship Port El Guamache

A few Sunday's ago I was finally able to go to El Guamache. I have an American friend that works there. She mentioned to me a while back about the idea of going in and taking pictures, kinda like writting a review about our Port. I must say it was an excellent idea! I really enjoyed my time out there, I met allot of vendors and a few tourists.

I think what made the biggest impression on me was the quality of the merchandise and the prices. They were not what I would expect them to be. Curious to know how much ?? Very, very afordable and not in the least bit expensive. Prices in the $1's, 5$'s, $10's, $20's and a little more. Gorgeous jewlery, precious stones, hand painted pottery, hand carved stone and more. In all reality nothing was over priced and it was wonderful to find out more about 'the people' who take the time to create and sell their works of art.

Please take the time to read about the review I have on this link.
