Rain, Rain and more Rain
This week alone is the most rain the we have had so far into Margarita's wet season. Its really hasn't been that bad but I know that some are here on vacation now and then really hate the weather. It's not like this all the time mind you....just usually in the end of December and Jan. If I remember right it can last into Feb. beginning of March. Even though the nite's are cooler and it is a little more wet than usual, you kinda appreciate it especially after last year 2005, we had a dought for 6 months straight with no rain at all. The grass is greener and my yard has never been this full of grass ever.
I added this part to my site about the weather and hope to add to it and I'll keep it up-to-date. I know it'll help to be able to better plan your vacations or trips when you're headed this way to the island for a little R & R!

Feb. carnival time is coming soon towards the third week of this month. So if you're headed to Margarita you can expect allot more people here visiting and a little more going on than usual. Also in March is Saints Week here called Semana Santa March 19-26.

Beautiful, excellent work.
The photos and information has helped me to decide that I would like to retire there. I have put a deposit on a new small housing project near Juan Greigo called Anclamar by Grupo Kap. I have visited Caracas but not Margarita Island. This website has taught me a lot of the island. Thank you,
