Carnival Time in Margarita Island!

yes I know ...I've taken too long to post. Sorry :( but it's all in good timing, right?

Here we are now Feb 24th 2006, the main carnival days will be on Monday and Tuesday because most on the island will have those days off. The usual traditions are parades of musical groups, coaches, people in costumes that parade through the principal avenues of Porlamar, Pampatar and Juangriego.

It is an excellent occasion to enjoy yourself, the music and the amusement that the island offers.
